Who joins NADE? Everyone interested in learning and helping others learn! Our members include college faculty (full- and part-time), administrators, counselors and advisors, tutors/mentors/SI leaders, professional development staff, researchers, legislators, high school faculty/staff/administration, and consultants, among others.

NADE Membership Growth Drive
April 1, 2010 - January 1, 2011

Although NADE is reaching more and more developmental educators, (NADE will welcome its 31st chapter--CalADE--at the upcoming conference and has increased its international presence), we still know that many developmental educators are not yet NADE members and are not served by a professional organization that meets their needs. NADE realizes it must reach out to these colleagues if it wishes to serve them, so a "Membership Growth Drive" will begin April 1. 2010. Three major awards will be offered:

1. The NADE CHAPTER in good standing which experiences the greatest pecentage increase in NADE members over the course of the Membership Growth Drive will be awarded a $500 stipend to be used toward attendance at the 2011 NADE conference.
2. One NEW INDIVIDUAL* NADE MEMBER who joins NADE for the first time during the Membership Growth Drive will win a $500 stipend to be used toward attendance at the 2011 NADE conference.
3. One RENEWING INDIVIDUAL* NADE MEMBER who renews an existing NADE membership during the Membership Growth Drive will win a $500 stipend to be used toward attendance at the 2011 NADE conference.

To join or renew, simply complete the Individual Membership form and send it with payment to the address on the form between April 1, 2010 and January 1 2011. Yes, you may renew early to fall within the timeframe of the Membership Drive.

*Members who join or renew as part of an Institutional/Program membership are not eligible for these stipends.
